Stereotypes can have a significant impact on a person's experience in the workplace, affecting their confidence, job satisfaction, and career advancement opportunities. A stereotype is a widely held but oversimplified idea or belief about a particular group of people. These beliefs can be based on race, gender, age, religion, or sexual orientation. Stereotypes often lead to assumptions about people that are not true or are based on a limited set of experiences.
