  • Question: What do you want to learn or solve?
  • Hypothesis: What do you think will happen?
  • Experiment: What experiment or model will you create to test your hypothesis?
  • Observation: What did you learn from your experiment or model?
  • Conclusion: What conclusions can you draw from your observations?

This approach will help you think critically and systematically about the projects.

2. Focus on Environmental Sustainability

• Since the project is focused on the environment, it's important to highlight sustainability and the importance of using recycled materials. Try to think about how the project can contribute to solving environmental issues, such as reducing waste, conserving energy, or protecting nature.

3. Digital Tools and Presentation Skills

• To prepare for the presentation part, you can use digital tools like:
  • Canva or Google Slides for creating visually appealing presentations.
  • Prezi for interactive presentations that can engage the audience.
  • Video creation tools (like iMovie or Adobe Spark) for creating short videos explaining their project.

These tools can help you practice your digital literacy skills while creating professional and engaging presentations.

4. Peer Review and Collaboration

• Collaborate with your classmates and give peer feedback. This will help you refine your ideas and improve your projects before the final submission.
• Team work can also be helpful. For example, a student strong in technical design can work with someone who is good at communication for the presentation.

5. Time Management

• Make sure you are aware of the timeline and plan your time efficiently. Break down the project into smaller tasks with deadlines (e.g., research, design, construction, presentation preparation).

6. Showcasing Creativity

• The projects do not have to be overly complex but should highlight creativity and innovation. Simple, yet well-executed ideas often stand out the most in science exhibitions.
• Creative storytelling during the presentation can also make a project more memorable.

7. Science and Technology Role Models

• Don't forget to read inspiring stories about scientists, engineers, and inventors who have made significant contributions to environmental science, space exploration, and technology.
• This can motivate you and make the project feel more meaningful and impactful.

8. Encourage Curiosity and Experimentation

• It’s okay if something doesn’t work perfectly. Science is about trial and error. Learn from mistakes and keep experimenting until you achieve the best result.

9. Involve Parents

• Parents can be excellent resources for helping you gather materials, provide feedback, and support your projects.  Work with the parents during the construction process and presentation preparation.

10. Make It Fun!

• Lastly, make the project fun and engaging. Science is exciting, and the more enthusiastic you are about your projects, the more you will learn and enjoy the process.
