Welcome back 5th Graders!!! This is going to be a great year!!

Let's start with some games!!

1st Game

Take a piece of paper and write 3 sentences, 1 with have, 1 with like and one with can.

e.g I have a new notebook.

I like listening to music.

I can cook spaghetti.

Stand up, introduce yourselves and then read the sentences aloud. Then every piece of paper should be crumpled!!

2nd Game

2 truths and 1 lie!

3rd Game

Same and different

Talk to the person next to you and find 2 common things and 1 difference.

e.g We both like pizza. We both have brown eyes.

I like cats but Maria likes dogs.
