CALENDAR FOR NOVEMBER
Dear partners, this is the calendar for NOVEMBER
Students create the character of the story.
1) Each school describes the character, an explorer, and illustrates the character of another school.
Each school writes a short physical description of the character on a slide of a Google slides presentation (on the left side of the slide) and it creates a picture of a partner's description (on the right side of the slide with the partner's description).
Schools are matched by writing the teacher's name, school and country on the slides.
The description
The explorer should be a person.
We need a description that is quite detailed but not too much.
Example: gender, age, kind of clothes, we can add also some colours, tall/short, slim/plump.
Not too many details as the matched partner will use the description in order to make the picture with AI.
About the picture, students will need to try several times with the AI application before getting a good picture
This description can be done by the whole class as a brainstorming activity.
Students agree about the features that the explorer will have.
2) Students vote and choose one explorer on a Google form.
One vote per school.
3) Students choose 5 cities on different continents on a Google form.
Each school chooses 5 cities, one for each continent.
5 votes per school.
Deadlines
By 15th November: writing the explorer's description.
By 25th November: creating a picture with AI based on the partner's description.
By 30th November voting 1 favourite explorer and choosing 5 cities, each city on a different continent
