PROJECT CALENDAR

September

Teachers introduce themselves

They organize the project together

They prepare an e-safety quiz

They prepare a map of Europe to tag schools

October

Students are invited to participate to the project

They play the e-safety quiz

They tag their school on the European map

They introduce themselves: a  bracelet is found with the picture of the Sun and  this mysterious inscription: " When you are sad, look at the sky: there are endless worlds out there". Students write a short presentation of themselves and they add a few words about the mysterious inscription. What does it mean? What adventures are being prepared in the sky? They create a bracelet with the Sun  and the inscription, and the photo is uploaded next to their presentation.

November

Students want to know more about the  mysterious inscription which is related to the Sun, and they start to explore the Solar System: creation of a presentation about the Planets:

1. Mercury

2. Venus

3. Earth

4. Mars

5. Jupiter

6. Saturn

7. Uranus

8. Neptune

9. Pluto

10. Sun

Each school writes information about one Planet and it draws a partner's Planet.

From December to March

Missions to the planets and the Sun: students work in transnational teams.

  1. Each team has the Mission to explore a specific planet.

During their missions, each team discovers a new Bracelet on their respective planets. Each bracelet represents a different value such as courage, empathy, teamwork, or resilience. Collecting these bracelets is crucial for solving the mysteries of the planets and advancing their journey.

In each team a group describes  a character who lives on the planet and who has some features that recall  that planet.  A group draws the character. A group writes a text about an adventure on the planet. The adventure is hard and dangerous. A group creates a picture for the text. A group creates the bracelet.

Finally, we collect the work in a book/ presentation.

  1. A group of students create a virtual Escape Room for their own planet  in order to be able to leave the planet and to continue the exploration.

They create a quiz with questions about the planet: who wants to leave the planet must solve the quiz, answer the question and so on.

We collect these games in a Genially map of the Solar System (a tag for each planet's Escape Room).

April-May

  1. Webinar with an astronomer.

  1. The adventure continues when the explorers are entrapped in a massive black hole.

It is a door to a parallel universe, the Twinverse. In the Twinverse people live peacefully, they collaborate and help each others.

In the Twinverse there are infinite possibilities and situations have endless outcomes.

The common feature of Twinverse is that a negative situation always ends up with changing into a positive solution.

Students work in groups.

Each school in Group A imagines a bad situation at school or out of school (for example, a child who is not welcomed in the class) and they create  a comic strip.

The same situation  is completely different in the Twinverse  and it has a happy ending.

So each  school of  group B creates the positive version of a partner's bad situation, incorporating one of the bracelets they discovered during their planetary missions. These bracelets serve as a reminder that even in difficult times, positive change is possible through the values they represent.

We collect  all the comic strips in one tool.
