What is an adjective?
It`s a word that describes a noun or a pronoun.
Jane is a beautiful girl. She is beautiful.
What is an adverb?
It`s a word that describes the action of the verb.
Jane sings beautifully.
Maria runs slowly. Here the word ‘slowly’ describes the action of running and therefore, is an adverb.

adjective+ ly
1. In most cases, an adverb is formed by adding “-ly” to an adjective:
2. Some of the adjectives end in ‘le’, ‘able’ or ‘ible‘. In these cases, replace the ‘e’ with ‘y’.
3. If the adjective ends in ‘ic, then add ‘ally’. The exception is ‘public’. The adverb for ‘public’ is ‘publicly’.
